Dr. Yihong Wang, Lead Data Scientist from Just Eat Takeaway.com, was a guest lecturer in the Decision making in multi-modal transport systems course taught by Dr. Yosef Maknoon at TU Delft on 21 November, 2023.
The Dutch company Just Eat Takeaway.com is the leading global online food delivery marketplace. In the Netherlands it is best known from their brand Thuisbezorgd.nl. Dr. Wang talked about the company’s efforts to build “innovative data-driven logistics solutions”. During the engaging presentation, students interested in real-time decisions and operations of on-demand urban logistics asked Wang questions and shared their ideas.
